This special commemorative wine honors the memory of those lost in the World Trade Center tragedy. Aged in French oak barrels, the wine is a young, clean Merlot with a hit of Cabernet Sauvignon and aromas of plum, blackberry and black currant. A nice wine for Thanksgiving toasts, a good value, a great cause.

It can be purchased for $9.11 at the Lieb Cellars tasting room located at 35 Cox Neck Road in Mattituck, on the Lieb Cellars Web site (www.liebcellars.com), or by calling the winery at 631/734-1100. It will also be available in select restaurants and wine shops on Long Island, in NYC, and throughout the state. For each bottle sold, 99.1-cents will be donated by Lieb Cellars to September’s Mission’s 9/11 Campaign. Soaring Spirits™

September’s Mission and "Remember Me" Rose Garden are proud to introduce "Soaring Spirits," the second rose in a series of nine roses created in honor of the victims of September 11, 2001.

"Soaring Spirits" was hybridized by Tom Carrot of Weeks Roses, and is a new cream, pink, and yellow striped climber named for those who worked in the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center. "Soaring Spirits" is a beauty that reaches for the sky and flowers throughout the season.

Weeks Roses will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of each rose to September’s Mission.

"Soaring Spirits" will be available in the Spring of 2005 through Edmunds Roses at www.edmundsroses.com, and in select garden centers in the Spring of 2006.
